Can I have both my wedding ceremony and reception at Swan Harbor Farm?
Most definitely. The majority of our brides choose to have both here. The ceremony/reception time is the event time.

Can I rent the house without renting the tent at Swan Harbor Farm?
For small functions of 125(mingling) or 70(seated) or when dancing is not part of the activities, the house and grounds only may be rented. However, the house has moderate size rooms which cannot accommodate everyone together. The house is not conducive to having wedding ceremonies inside for this reason. Corporate meetings, cocktail, birthday and anniversary parties sometime utilize the house only. The many rooms in the house make excellent break out rooms for meetings or retreats. The back patio is often used for meetings in pleasant weather.

Can I rent the tent without renting the house at Swan Harbor Farm?
No, the house is used for restrooms, changing area for the wedding party, gifts, cocktails, and has a large commercial kitchen that the caterers use.

Can we come in early to decorate Swan Harbor Farm?
The renter is allowed on the property only during the contracted time and must leave at the end of the contracted time. The set-up time is the designated time allowed for decorating and preparing for the event. The renter has the option of renting additional time for this purpose. |

Do you have a list of vendors that you can provide for events at Swan Harbor Farm?
We can give you a list of wedding vendors that participated in our most recent Bridal Showcase to use as you wish.

Do you have a preferred caterers list for Swan Harbor Farm?
No, our renters are able to choose their own caterer as long as they are licensed and insured. All events must be catered.

How can I arrange to see the property at Swan Harbor Farm?
Call the office Monday thru Friday 8:30am-5pm to make an appointment with the Event Coordinator. Appointments are made Monday thru Thursday, 9am - 3pm. You can visit the Farm anytime dawn until dusk as a park visitor and see the grounds only.

What happens if it rains and I have an event scheduled at Swan Harbor Farm?
The outdoor ceremony would move to the tent. Tent sides are available to be rented on the day of the event for use in inclement weather.

What type of music is allowed at Swan Harbor Farm?
Live music and DJs are allowed for the ceremony and reception. Music, but no dancing is allowed in the house.

When does the season start and end for Swan Harbor Farm?
Our outdoor season starts mid April and extends thru the end of October.

Where do ceremonies take place at Swan Harbor Farm?
The ceremonies usually take place on the lawn in the front of the house facing the Bay.
